Recent message from Ed Horowitz, VP Baseball:

On Sunday, April 9 (RLL Opening Day), from 10:30am-1:00pm, Robbinsville Little League will host our 2nd annual Pitch, Hit & Run competition at Tantum Park.  Boys and girls ages 7-14 can compete (note, each division is comprised of 2 years).  The following are some important facts about the competition:

• Throwing - Competitors have 6 chances to hit a target strike zone (from age appropriate distances)

• Hitting – Competitors have 3 swings off a batting tee to hit the ball as far and straight (i.e. down center of field) as possible.

• Running – Boys and girls are required to run 120 and 160 feet, respectively, as fast as they can.

• It takes less than 5 minutes to compete in all three disciplines.

• For each age division, the winner of each discipline, as well as the overall winner, advance to the next level of PHR competition.

• Competitors can advance to the Sectional then Team Championship and then National Finals (during the MLB All-Star game weekend).

I have attached the PHR registration form for your use.  Please note that each kid is required to have a copy of his or her birth certificate upon registering the day of the competition.  If you have any questions, you may email Ed Horowitz at ehorowitz@pscinfogroup.com.

We hope to see all of you competing this year...Good Luck!!
